Mark and Lily – 2016

An amazing thing: We went to Africa this year for over three weeks! We did safari’s with the animals, saw the wildebeest migration, we stalked a leopard, we flew over elephants and canoed with crocodiles. You can check out our highlights album if you want to see just a short few dozen photos. If you want the full firehose, it’s over 1000 photos, let us know.

This leopard was not amused.

A beautiful thing: We became an official aunt and uncle as Mark’s sister had a beautiful little girl who will keep us busy spoiling her for years to come.

A sad thing: Mark’s Grandmother passed away this year, our last grandparent between us. She’ll be greatly missed by all.

A tiring thing: Lily’s has been looking out a lot of airplane windows this year, a lot, and most of them didn’t have a view this nice. Life on the road.

When she is at home we’ve tried to get out to Toronto and small towns around Ontario we hadn’t been to before. This year visisted: Galt, Paris, Collingwood, Brantford, Dundas and Waterdown.

And now our travel tree is trimmed and winter is coming in Canada. So we hope you and your’s stay warm (or cool as the case may be) through the holidays and good luck to all of us in the year ahead.
